Why Do They Supply Printers With No USB Printer Cable Lead?
We have a bone to pick with all these printer manufacturers. Read on.
You make a long journey in your car, on the bus, or even in a taxi down to your local electrical retailer/well known local superstore for a brand new printer for your desktop PC/Laptop. You spend an hour or so in the retail outlet deciding which printer you’re going to buy. You make the decision to spend £40, £100, £500 on a printer. You go to the checkout, pay for the printer, make the difficult journey half way across the car park, its raining and you can barely carry the printer the box is that big.
Finally you get it into your car, onto the bus after waiting for one (note that they all come at once after you’ve been standing around for one hour!), or the taxi that has been parked up outside with the meter ticking away whilst you’ve been inside the retailer choosing which printer to purchase.

Finally you’re inside your place of work or home looking forward to setting up your brand new printer. Lovely.
You then open the box pull everything out and start to assemble the printer. Its looking good on your desktop. Nice and sleek and comtemporary.
The final piece of the jigsaw is to pull the USB printer cable lead from the box to connect it to your Laptop/Desktop PC ready to print the documents you’ve wanted to for a few days.
To your amazement there is NO USB printer cable lead in the box! WHY!? You’ve made the painful journey all the way to your local superstore for a new printer and you get home to assemble the thing, and there’s NO USB printer cable lead in the box! We cannot understand why these manufacturers do this! Can we please have some answers? Its like buying a new motorcar and them not supplying and tyres on the wheels! Its un-useable.
Frankly I think its ridiculous!
